CHLORINATED RUBBER UNIVERSAL PRIMER
Description:
Simchlor Universal Primer is a lead free, chlorinated rubber based, anti corrosive quick dry primer that can be recoated in one or two hours at 77º F or above.
Principle Features:

Can be used as a tie coat between generically different materials i.e. inorganic zincs and epoxies, vinyls, urethanes, and chlorinated rubbers. |

Ideal for use on ships, offshore rigs, tanks, pipelines and other metal surfaces which require high resistance to rust, moisture and chemicals. |

Fast drying and durability makes it especially adaptable for use as shop primer. |

Application Data:
Apply by conventional or airless spray. Paint pressure point with double regulator, moisture trap. DeVilbiss MBC-510 gun with "E" tip and needle, 765 or 704 air cap, 1/2" ID fluid hose, 5/16" air hose. Details for Airless Spray: Graco 28:1 pump, golden gun with 0.013 to 0.017" orifice.
Surface Preparation:
If abrasive blast cleaning is not possible, remove rust scale and loose paint by hand or power tools as per SSPC specifications. On previously painted surfaces, remove all grease, oil dirt or other foreign matter by suitable methods. Prime as necessary or apply as a barrier coat over entire surface area. Mix material thoroughly and strain through a 60 mesh screen before use.

(B) Adequate ventilation must be maintained.
(C) Explosion proof lights & electrical equipment.
(D) Non-Sparking shoes & tools for workers in area.
(E) This product contains flammable materials. Forbid all flames, smoking and welding in work area.
(F) Avoid breathing of vapor, contact with skin or eyes. If product comes in contact with skin or eyes, wash thoroughly with water and obtain medical attention.
